Supervised visitation may be required when a court determines that a neutral third party should be present to ensure a safe and positive environment for a child during visits with a parent or guardian. This can occur in situations involving high conflict between parents, concerns about safety, a history of substance use, or when reintroducing a parent into a child’s life after a long absence. 

Getting started is simple. Parents, guardians, or their attorneys can contact Reaching Hands directly by phone or email to discuss services. An intake appointment is scheduled to review family needs, court requirements, and service options. From there, a personalized visitation or support plan is created to ensure a safe and supportive environment for families. Attorneys, courts, and community professionals may also refer families to Reaching Hands for services.
